I've seen Thunderbolt and Lightfoot a few times. The first time watching it the ending confused me. Upon rewatching it, I think I get it.
I own Images and it's on my Much-Fucking-Watch list. I hope to eventually see it if I end up doing a Robert Altman marathon one day.
Watched Happy-Go-Lucky as per the recommendation and fell in love with it. Sally Hawkins is adorable.
Some underseen movies for you guys:
Dear Zachary- A gut wrenching documentary that showcases the noblest of humanity and the worst of humanity. Best watched without any knowledge of the case going into it as well as a dozen boxes of Kleenex.
Martha Marcy May Marlene- A terrifying look into a cult and their effect on an escapee from it. Terrific editing and two great performances by Elizabeth Olsen and John Hawkes.
Night Moves- So you're Gene Hackman. You just starred in one of the most gripping thrillers in film history in The Conversation. What do you do next? Star in another one a year later.
Dead Man's Shoes- Revenge is a dish best served British.
The Sunset Limited- Two guys. One room. More intensity than most thrillers could hope for. Based on the play by Cormac McCarthy.
