When the blood gushes out of the elevator doors in the "the Shining," played with Beethoven's 9th, I can't help but to think of Alex from "A Clockwork Orange," exhilarated from the outright violent mayhem it portrays. Excellent job!
Stanley Kubrick is one of my favourite directors ever. I'm a fan of editing and the editing in this tribute is superb, from the timing of the music to the recurring shots from Kubrick's filmography. I love it - Well done!
In clockwork orange the scene where he is on the bed and suddenly gets punched in the balls by his teacher is not in :D Even without it this is still the best video on the internet.

What is the music playing starting at 1:08 and continuing until almost the 3 minute mark? I know it comes from one of the films, but I can't remember.

Thanks a lot for this. Just perfect.
It should be added as a companion piece to his movies, or at the end of Stanley Kubrick: A Life in Pictures.
