What do these five movies have in common?

  1. I love all five? Is that it? Do I win?

Or is it that things aren't as they seem? That's more likely in the grand scheme of things.

  2. They each depict a loss of values/valuables/treasures/loved ones & revenge?

  3. Or they could each depict a haunting revelation? Se7en - death of wife, Lost Highway - guilt, Memento - realization of past, American Psycho - realization of psychopathy, Life Aquatic - realization that what he wanted wasn't what he wanted, etc. (?)

I have no idea. Someone dies in each movie?

  9. Still all correct, more or less.

It's a detail they all share -- though "American Psycho" & "Memento" are the closest in this similarity.
